THE 73rd ANNUAL ZOLA COOPER-LEE T. NESBITT SEMINAR
A Clinical and Dermatopathologic Seminar
Dear Colleague:
I hope you are all enjoying the summer. We are happy to announce that we will again present the 2026 Zola Cooper – Lee T. Nesbitt Clinical and Dermatopathologic Seminar in association with the Fall Meeting of the Louisiana Dermatological Society. We plan to meet in New Orleans, Louisiana, on Saturday, October 24, 2026 at the Windsor Court Hotel located at 300 Gravier Street.
We invite you to submit a case for presentation at our annual meeting. Requirements for submission and a sample format for submission of cases histories are attached and can be found at www.zolacooper.org. Please follow these guidelines and submit your case in the format outlined. Cases not submitted in this format may be returned to you. The deadline for case submission is Friday, September 25, 2026. Cases are presented by a panel of expert dermatopathologists, so attendance is not required for case submitters.
The suggested donation for case presentations is $25.00. Additional contributions to offset the production costs associated with the symposium will still be gratefully accepted and appreciated. Each case presenter will receive a complete set of protocols and photographs in digital format followed by an updated PowerPoint presentation from the meeting. Please send an email to cjcconsults@gmail.com with an electronic copy of the completed case submission form, the case history, clinical photos, and photomicrographs. If possible, please also send a recut of glass slides to Chris Bandel at the address on this letterhead. We may be able to accept cases if there are excellent, high-quality digital photomicrographs although we prefer at least one high quality glass slide.
Additional information about the symposium and registration will be available soon online at www.zolacooper.org. The registration fee is waived for submitting authors of cases, speakers, medical students, residents, fellows and board members.
We look forward to your participation in our annual meeting, and we wish you the best.
Sincerely,
Clay J. Cockerell, M.D. Travis Vandergriff, MD
